nothing destructive. I haven't seen it myself, but I think he just put in a html redirect to his own site or something like that..

hardly worthy of the name "hack" in my opinion.

you're right.. it's "malicious code" more than a "hack". However, the redirect did pop up and say "this site was hacked by...". I put dots because I can't remember all the characters used for the stupid name.
This redirected anyone going to the site from the front page of the site as well as many other pages.

It cost us time, effort and yes... money to resolve the problem. If it was any worse, it would be worth driving down to Ohio, grabbing a local police officer, and walking up to the problem makers home with charges to be filed.

it's like Stryder said;

"unfortunately - it is always ONE something or someone that ruins things for the masses"

Modsonline is still one of my favorite mapping forum sites, and it's like that for a long time now. i never will understand why someone would like to spoil it for the masses.

the only thing i can think of is that he still has to learn a lot in live, and also that he doesn't feel well, and when he doesn't feel well than nobody should feel well. hope he does feel better now he has proved that he can bring Modsonline down for a few hours. hope he's proud on it, i sure would be proud on it.

just go on Foyleman and all other admins that help you!!
thanks for all the fun and info over the years, hope there will come much more.
