hello all, i have a bit of a problem with modelling i have made the first face for my model bit how do i make it 3d. this is what ive done so far...

you can create an overlay of the front and bottom, and move the vertices on your current mesh around so they fit those. Lot of work basically.

oh..the easiest wat to do this is as follows

make a front and bottom shot.. and with your current mesh do ONE half of the gun.. copy it, and inverse it so you'll have two halfs of the gun, fit them together and you should have a nice gun

another problem i have, ive made my model, skinned it, saved it and when i go to convert it but i dont see were ive gone wrong i follow the tut done exactly what he said and i get "failed with 1 error" [cry]

This is your real error:

It's been a while since I exported a model but....
How did you export it? as a viewmodel or as a normal xmodel?
Also.. if you just want to try editting the skin, you don't have to export the entire model again.. you can just take the skin file from the .pk3 file, alter it and add it to your own .pk3 file...

i exported it as a normal model i think....i followed the tut in the cod tutorials section on how to make a new model for cod
