What sort of question do you think should be asked in the next poll?

This poll has been going for a month and a bit not, it has had alot of good comments and can give everyone a good idea about the possibility of a new mod.

What sort of question do you think should be asked next?

Hi supersword mate!

Personally, I think the polls should be much more frequently updated, this way having a new choice of question to vote on keeps people interested in what you are actually asking in the poll. Asking a question which is then left for a long period of time becomes 'stale' and people begin to lose interest in the actual topic being discussed. This obviously doesn't apply to all polls, as the familiar question like 'Do you like Call of Duty 2' for example doesn't leave much room for discussion, but a question like 'How do you think IW will respond to the CCA' leaves room for lots of opinions.

The topic of the poll should vary from games, software to hardware. This then leaves the options open so many more people can respond to what ever there interests are.

A good topic could be something related to a news post or link to a news story like this:

"What is your opinions on the new 'Gamebryo 2.2' game engine"

"What do you think of the Xbox360 firmware hacker"

They are only examples but i think its the right way to go about it, i would like to see what other think though!

Don't even bring up the CCA at ModsOnline, it will only downgrade this place to have the CCA make a new home here.

What games people are looking forward to in Q2 or 2006?

What games people are looking forward to in Q3 of 2006?

How did people like GDC 2006 of those who went?

I only refered to CCA as a area of interest, it's old news and is not intended as a suggestion for a poll. I was only trying to describe my point!

A good point it was to Rasta. How about creating a poll for individual News topics - if the News topic has revelence for a poll that is, that way after reading the news and reading the comments you can have your say and put a vote along with it.

That way you can leave the main Site poll for areas of general interest and the individual News topics for polls focusing on that issue.

1. As for Poll questions.. Maybe a more in-depth approach on the Modsonline Mod - as it looks like people are interested but won't to know exactly what it would entail.

2. The xbox360 price, the consoles looks crap, plays crap, is expensive. backwards compatability has serious issues and xbox live lags.. so why are people spending out their presious hard-earned cash on it? Why not wait till the price drops?

3. PC or console, where does the future lie? Consoles are becoming more and more like a pc but with out the added horrors of spening out cash on upgrades every year, so where will the pc be in the next, 5-6 years?

4. Msn messenger, why do people see the "Away" and "Busy" signs as a gesture for them to message you?! (grr)

p.s. To all those Mothers out there, happy mothers day for tomorrow.

How about - "Which do you think will be released first -- S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or the COD2 PC Patch?"

You can even throw the Phantom Game System in there as a joke. [lol]
