hi all....i just have a quick question....i have a hard time making mitred corners for walls...i can never seem to make them ,even when i use the edge points...what i have been doing is to overlap the two walls i want to join and then use the clipper tool with both walls selected, then i remove the two smaller brushes that are left after the function....now is this or do you think this will cause me more problems in the long run

thanks loads

it should not create any problems as long as you remember to remove the bit you cut off.

But... beveling is easy.

Press E and drag one corner down the width of the brush. 45 degrees.

thanks again
i am glad to hear that the clipper tool is ok to use.....now you say that the bevel function is easier....lol....that's the way i have tried and tried but it seems everytime i go select the the corner point i want to drag...it leaps all over the place....sigh...i wind making a mess of the brush and deleting it....this is why i have been using the clipper tool.....i'm not sure if i am setting something up wrong with the bevel...like would my grid setting have anything to do with it ??? oh well no worry....as long as i'm safe using the clipper tool i can keep building.....

thank you very much for your help.....again!

about that leaping over the other part... set your grid to 1. Then it will use smaller steps of movements and then i should be oke.

The leaping all over doesn't happen all the time to me but when it does, I just select either X or Y axis, turn off the other and it drags real easy.
Seems to leap the more tired I am...LOL
