RO originally was a mod for Unreal Tournament 2003 & 2004, they won a license on the unreal engine in a contest called Make something Unreal, the point was to simply make the best mod. Now they are about to release Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-44. Which is basiclly a commericial version of their mod

I can see whow this all is gonna turn out... we are going to be left with another swarm of outrage from the players threatening to stop playing the game if they don't get more answers now.

Don't anyone get their panties in an uproar here...Tally DID NOT work for IW, he was a moderator for a forum just like this forum.

IWNation (the forum) has been going downhill ever since they let CCA take it over for their "strike". Funny how we haven't heard from that bunch in a while, eh?

Super is right in what he says, just watch....[thumbs_up]

well i heard the strike lasted 24 hours. kinda stupid because instead your hurting the people you are getting your server off of more because i have experienced it where the server just doesnt want to come back up and i had to contact the people to get it back up for me. (ran outta money, no longer have a server:( ) but i say try to get your local GameStop to join in by asking them to sell the games they have on the shelves and then not replace them and/or order more copies. strike them at the heart pretty much instead of saying "oo im gonna shut down my server for 24 hours, now what" and IW will b like "oo wow we're scared, its gonna be back up in 24 hours u nimrod" so i find it quit childish really....or just plane out stupid.

and kind of a off topic question here but is this site well known enough to be noticed by IW or any other companies? sry for slight off topic. we could do sumthin on this site if it were noticed by them.

heck, we could brain storm up sumthin that would hurt IW a little bit if we could think of anything. cant exactly do "we host no CoD anything files!" cuz that would be bad...for us...i dont even know what would be a good idea but if modsonline is seen by IW then we could take action.

hope know one turned against me suddenly. im just sick of hearing IW change there mind about a patch release and tools release. there poor communication should bite them back, sumthin a little bit more then server shut down for 24 hours.

and um, just wonding, seems this topic is closing up so i might as well live it up agin, did anyone spend there money on sumthing other then CoD2 once u heard of all the problems? that might make a good poll ? there but i will leave that up to the moderators. i bought be a equalizer for my comp :)

modsonline prides itself in NOT taking sides

if you look at what has become of the iwn forums since they let cca in and take over - then you can see why

we are a friendly community here, and we will keep it that way
