Found this and thought it was interesting. Full article COD3 and COD4 Leaked Brief quote Quote: We've heard from a reliable source what the next two Call of Duty titles will be about: one will focus on the Normandy Breakout campaign in WWII, while the other moves into the modern age, taking the fight to Middle Eastern terrorists. Yikes! The big release news is that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the other WWII-themed game will be released for PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox, and Xbox 360--and they will be released only 3 months apart from one another. This would follow the pattern of releases for Call of Duty 2 on the PC and 360 and Call of Duty 2: Big Red One on current-gen consoles, only this time both would be released on both generations of hardware (minus the GameCube and Revolution). Didn't see it on here yet. You would think they would finish COD2 first.

Hum.. Sounds a bit 'made up' to me. I would like to know where this 'reliable source' is, when we cant even get anwsers for CoD2.

hmm i dont think its all poo-poo ... if you think about it there is only 1 decent ww2 game out that is cod2, all the other games are modern. The ww2 games are dieing as the modern warfare games are taking over. My opinion is that the makers of call of duty are doing this to stay in the game with all the otehr gaming makers such as novalogic.

sounds like complete garbage to me. Just doesnt seem to be actually well you know real. Just like the entire "Leaked Information" I dont believe in that. Its prolly a rumor

i aint sure on a COD 4 but i reccon they can do a COD 3 COD2 let me down and i think activision maybe getting a little bored with COD, i belive this as yet the patch and the editor is not yet sorted is the puncbuster sorted yet?? they need to make COD games (COD 3) more interactive and don't make the graphix better COD2's graphix is gd enough for me just give us back the gd weapons and the vehicles and chuck in a plain or boat driving level lol it may make my year or not lol edited on Mar. 18, 2006 03:45 pm by westonegoth

I just want more realism... CoD1 is more realistic than CoD2 & its also more fun to play... If there is a CoD3 & 4 I hope IW dont go down the CoD2 route again because it failed miserably... Give me BiA any day over CoD2...

Reading through the whole article, it feels too detailed and techincal to be complete bullsht, but i still do feel that there is a large part of this whole thing that is a little imaginitive as of now. But that may change in the future as Activision extrapolates the Call of Duty* brand. Personally, I think they should stick to WW2--for some reason, the moniker identifies more with WW2 than with anything else.
