Lo All

I wondered if anybody has a solution that stops noobs blocking doors?

U see i have a train that allied spawn in and it only has 1 door open, now i dont want things to happen where some idiot decides to block door and blocks the other 7 people in train from getting out?

I had an idea of putting a trigger_hurt in door, but it would need to have a script where it actvates once a player has been standing in it for just say 5 seconds and once they move out it resets.

Ideas any1?

You could do that. Maybe say that their is an enemy sniper out there and if you stay there to long he will kill you. Or you could just make the door bigger for two people to fit out of.

The problem is, the train is a Script_mode, u cant resize script_models, i dunno how u do it but before when i was playing around both sides of the doors opened on train?

Maybe research those mods for Spawn campers, see if you could get a trigger_multiple to do the same thing[thumbs_up]

I guess you could just try putting a trigger_use there with a hintstring saying "DONT BLOCK THE FECKING DOOR YOU BLOCKHEAD" or sumpin like that.

well i could put a switch inside the train yard that u press and it quickly spawns a trigger hurt that will kill anybody standing in the way of the door, but i guess thats not very realistic, then again, neither is putting a trigger hurt in a door, hmmm wot can i do.

Does anybody know how to get both box car doors open, the model name is xmodel/v_rs_lnd_playerboxcar

maybe teleport the players from the doorway to right outside, that way its not so unrealistic and if a player tries to block, they just go outside.

hmm thats a good idea

well i would really like to open both doors cos then theres no problem, but if not a teleporter might work, hmm
