ok ive had some of these duplicate plane errors in my map for a while, and had trouble finding duplicate plane brush in graydient (misc/find brush).

Now ive just looked at the common mapping errors section and seen a thing about this error, so i followed that and when i clicked the brush clean button, after the warning dialog box a huge brush suddenly appeared in my map? I mean it was like the same size as my skybox!

What i dont get is this brush was textured as concrete yet up to now it has been totally invisible. I also have some brush errors in my map called empty brush?
anyone know how i can find these ones to erase?

Also on another note i get a few mixed face contents errors which i fix after each compile, but recently my skybox has also been shown as a mixed face brush, anyone know if this is a common error or is it down to an error in my skybox?

How do you mean "you had trouble finding the brushes"?

Just compile. Write down the numbers of the dublicate brushes and type them in the box when you go to Find Brushes. Just make sure you start with the highest number first.

As for the big brush. I've got no idea, I don't map for UO, so I've never used the "clean brushes" option. However.. those brushes appear sometimes after using one of the CSG tools (hollow, subtract...).

The mixed face error is not a bad one. It just means you've got a brush with more than one texture on it.
