The game developer Valve and it's new title title, Half Life 2: Episode 1, is to have it's second episode released of it's series of new sections of gameplay.

As you may have read from previous articles, Half Life 2 is now episodic; meaning new sections of game play will be released to the public regularly. It looks like Valve is preparing Episode 2 for the new released, Half Life 2: Episode one, which was previously named Aftermath. It seems that the episode may be delivered sooner that we think. Valve's Robin Walker, designer/engineer on Episode 1, has said that Episode 2 "has been in development for some time" in an interview that'll be winging its way to you shortly. The expected time for these episodes is said to be at least 4 - 6 hours an episode. I’m looking forward to see how Valve can keep up with the quality with such a high demand for these games and what they are expecting to put out to the public with their timeframe.

like you said, hopefully they will keep up the good quality of the episodes. because we know of other games that every new add on was of a lesser quality that the one before. take for instance Mohaa and there add ons, spearhead was bad, but the last add on was so bad that it wasn't even worth looking at, forgot the name of it. but that was for sure the worst add on i ever have seen. so hopefully HL2 won't go the same way!!
