I just got satilitte high speed called wildblue (www.wildblue.com). The internet seems to run fast but in CODUO MP I have a horrible ping. It is like 700 and all the games when you are searching for a game to join says I would have a ping of anywhere between 600 to 2000. It was better on dial up!!! However once I actually join a game even with a 600 ping I run smooth as butter. Is there anyway I can lower my ping though so I don't keep getting the error for low ping only and join more than 1 game out of 200? I have changed my setting to lan/cable in the MP options and that didn't help. Please help!!![sad]

Broadband down and land-line up?

Meaning, do you have a receiver from the dish and using the phone line to push info up?

If so that is the problem.

That is the same as a regular 56k modem connection.

There is no telephone line, there is a wire that runs from the dish to a reciever box inside my house. I also have a wirless router hooked up if that makes a difference.
