Mike_Nomad works with a Goebblarian rhetoric. Personally, I think everything he spouts is propaganda, plain and simple.
Basically, this is what I say:
Not happy?
Get a hobby.
Or go out with friends.
More to life than waiting for and complaining about the lack of a COD2 patch, seriously.
DO SOMETHING.
I'm certainly not content with the lack of communication and support from Activision / IW, but I'm not going to pout about it. Hell, with no mapping, sure I don't have my visions to create, but I can hone my German skills, I can study history, I can work toward getting in to MIT, I can have fun with people who aren't over the internet.
If some of you already realize there's more to life than a COD2 patch, you should be the envy of everyone else. |

Yeah Mike seems to be the loudest mouth in that whole group of CCA.
CCA, what's that LOL.
This is a quote from Planet Call of Duty's front page about MN's post....
Quote: A member of the IW Nation boards has posted up news that he claims to have received through an undivulged source.
Now since the "few" followers of CCA are going to believe what MN tells them, if I was so inclined to visit the IWNation boring forum, then I might post something like this....
Quote: This just in...of course I cannot divulge my source...but you may guess who it could be.
Tomorrow at sometime in the 24 hours of Sundays existence, the sky will fall, yes I said the sky will fall...now don't panic because we can always:
1.Sit and wait and see if it happens.
2.Tell whoever is in charge of keeping the sky up where it belongs they better keep it there or else, (idle threats - whoever they are don't listen to people who threaten).
3.We can just say the heck with it, let the sky fall and we will move on to the next best thing that shows up because it is going to be soooooooooooooo much better.
I have to agree with EvilHobo on what he posted but what stands out the most is...
Quote:

COD2 is an online game for crying out loud. The way the few whiners from CCA act, it is their entire life, their livelihood, their only existence for being on planet callofduty, OH WAIT, I meant to say "earth".
Some people need to GET A LIFE.
I agree that it is not good business for the people behind the COD series to make us wait but I have all sorts of other things I do in life without worrying about a patch.
AND
If you read the why behind the delay, it seems it is not a patch problem
BUT
a PUNKBUSTER one.
I'm sure the CCA are going to move on this one and attack Evenbalance now, right? |

Hmm, if you do that, we're liable to see Sky Community Action, with people pleading to have the person in charge of keeping the sky up to patch it so it stays, or get anti-cheat for those pesky UV rays.
Still, go and post it, I'd love to see the reactions.
And about Punkbuster, from what I've heard, it's really not that good at stopping cheaters anyway. I have a feeling that the CCA is going to whine and complain if it turns out its Punkbuster's fault that the patch has been delayed, or if Punkbusters performance is lackluster, only to be told: "You asked for it." |
