I totaly agree with you MasterChief.Alot of us have been waiting patiently......but as for myself my patience is getting thin.

The one thing that seems scary,is the silence from IW/ACT.And when i say silence,i mean it....not one word.

I'm certainly not content with the lack of communication and support from Activision / IW, but I'm not going to pout about it. Hell, with no mapping, sure I don't have my visions to create, but I can hone my German skills, I can study history, I can work toward getting in to MIT, I can have fun with people who aren't over the internet.

If some of you already realize there's more to life than a COD2 patch, you should be the envy of everyone else.

COD2 is an online game for crying out loud. The way the few whiners from CCA act, it is their entire life, their livelihood, their only existence for being on planet callofduty, OH WAIT, I meant to say "earth".

Some people need to GET A LIFE.

I agree that it is not good business for the people behind the COD series to make us wait but I have all sorts of other things I do in life without worrying about a patch.

If you read the why behind the delay, it seems it is not a patch problem
BUT
a PUNKBUSTER one.

I'm sure the CCA are going to move on this one and attack Evenbalance now, right?

I cant' say i will totally hate Activision or IW. Maybe all of the problems with the game that are being experienced now are being fixed. in other words. since people complain about the game now with all these problems. who knows that this patch will take a long time to make and could possibly be a huge download. and maybe it will be released with the readiant at the same time

my entire life circles around playing video games, modding them, making them in any way, shape or form. a lot of people call me a loser but i dont even wait for a patch. my reaction to a BF2 patch is. STUPID PATCHES!! but hey, they got rid of bunny hopping shooting noobs.....yay.....but with the CoD2 patch. they might as well release the game as a free download. it will probably be the size of the game. but i may be wrong on that. there is other things in life other then CoD2 yes...CoDUO, BFV, BF2 lol. i dont know who this mike fella is or wut a CCA is. Cannot Communicate Atm? for me i just see activision falling at the feet of EA and trying to get with them to get back to the top...Germany can help us there, or Russia....oh well. but im supprised that a group of people havent made a PUNKBUSTER already. i mean a good one thats free. their hard work to make one isnt any different then IW's hard work at making one.

patches can get annoying.. if you make a mod the patch may pull down some of you mods. or make them not work.. never experienced it but it could happen. and i can't wait for the radiant.. i don't care about the patch... also the people that glitch and jump all the time.. the patch may fix that. so they won't download it

Hmm, if you do that, we're liable to see Sky Community Action, with people pleading to have the person in charge of keeping the sky up to patch it so it stays, or get anti-cheat for those pesky UV rays.

And about Punkbuster, from what I've heard, it's really not that good at stopping cheaters anyway. I have a feeling that the CCA is going to whine and complain if it turns out its Punkbuster's fault that the patch has been delayed, or if Punkbusters performance is lackluster, only to be told: "You asked for it."

Can i put my 2 cents in? I personally love cod 2. Sure i wish there was an editor but im plenty glad playing the normal. There are some nice mods (not to fond of awe) but id play it. I still wish there where some normal servers out there. Once custom maps come out its going to be great and all these people leaving to go to different games will be all upset breaking there promises.
