some little S@H"I&T has stole mi COD CD key any 1 know how to get it back or find out who got it and how they got it please??? how can i fix this problem and no i can't change mi game cos it was bought from ebay and it is an origional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had this very same problem, I went over to the Activision site and basically all they said was:

"We can't re-supply you with a new CD-Key as all Keys are registered at the packaging centre"

So unless they stop playing the game, or you can get on while they are not playing, you need to buy a new game. That is unless they have changed things, but I checked this about 2 weeks ago.

when i first got cod ( and punkbuster in the game ) my brother and I shared the same cd-key ( on 2 dif computers ) , only prob was we couldnt play in the same servers. I dunno how you cant play ( unless he is in the same server , in which case he will be kicked aswell ).

Well you can go to:

http://www.activision.com/support/ and post a problem there.

Or look in the COD Book, there is a telephone number you can ring. You can get through alot quicker as the helpdesk can take up to 24 hours. (Make sure it's the customer services and not the Hint/Tips helpline that you call).

"westonegoth" you have very bad luck because there
are illegal copy's on the internet of games.
They use keygenerators to generate a key code for the
game.
So what i know is that the keygenerators rarely generate
a key which you can use to play online.
Someone has be very lucky en generated the key you use
of the game you did buy.
I think this happens only 1 out of 1.000.000.

So of all my games i like very much i did buy me 2 copy's.

Battlefield 1942
Battlefield Vietnam
Call of Duty
Call of Duty United Offensive
Doom 3
Medal of Honor Allied Assault Warchest

Most of these games are cheap only 15 dollars.

So it is a shame that you have to buy 2 games to be sure
that you can play online.

You have to play on the same server if you get this problem.

lmao now gues what has happened some one got mi COD2 CDkey but iafter 3 attempts of re joining a server i got back on

so i dunt know what is happening but omg it is stressfull lol expesially when u are owning people

i got back on to mi COD game and COD2 but iel have to see about it try again l8r.

also supers world ty i may post this problem l8r on activision site if it keeps re ocuring, i am not phoning them as i am in england and only have their american phone line i think

buy the game...unless you are giving away your cd code (which the eula warns you against, as well as the actual packaging AND the key) there is no way to have 2 duplicate keys on 2 different games...

secondly - purchasing a game on ebay is NOT giving you rights to a particular cd-key, as the only way to guarantee that you - and only you- have a cd key is to purchase a legal game in a retail location (not ebay) and NEVER share or give out your cd key

original proof of purchase and imaging of the packaging and disks will get you a new key issued from activision if you go through the proper channels
