Today i have seen first 3 custom maps...though i played only one:(( but it was from single player) and first servers with custom maps have appeard...

all of these maps are SP to MP conversions...not sure how they do it..its probably hex editing or somthing of the sorts

im startin to lose hope on this whole Cod2 Radiant stuff... iw said it would be released at the end of january and we are already in february. if it doesn't come out for another month iw can kiss my

First time i comment on this editor thing, though im waiting for it like a child for christmas. First of all the claim that the editor will be released in the end of january was just a rumor. Close to cristmas IW told that the update will be released "early 2006" wich can mean anything from january to june. I belive that it will be released this or next mont (first quarter of the year)

It would be nice if IW would keep the community informed. If they have the tools ready but are fixing issues on the patch itself, i think they should release the tools separately asap. People are converting SP maps to MP and that is a clear sign that people are desperately trying to make new content to the game. I too are getting bored in the stock maps. The game itself is awesome, I love it. I wish they will make a addon like UO because i love jeeps. That too is a topic IW should comment on.

I don't know much about what makes a gamming company tick but I would have thought it would have been released with the original game.
