Well, I gained a wealth of experience with my firstEastyorks1 SP Campaign and invaluable feedback so this is going to be result of it.



Aachen, 11 October 1944. US 26th Infantry Regiment launch offensive to capture the first German city encountered. (I'm a sucker for history!)



I got rid of friendly chains in preference to fully scripted movement. Friendly AI is only as strong as enemy now. More allied casualties.



Finally worked out how to start and stop looping fx with triggers and the script_stopfx command instead of timeouts.


Oh, and you can frag anti-tank guns too.
Did proper advanced/outdoor portalling this time.




And have managed to script anti_cheese! Enemy AI get tougher the better the weapon the player is holding. No more hosing the Wehrmacht down with their own MP44's and getting away with it.



Still lot's to do mainly just adding little details for atmosphere. Am also going to sort out plenty of fake tracer fire and atmospheric battle fx to make the firefights more spectacular.

Looks awesome yr, My son and I played your last one, that was good. This one looks a lot tougher.

This would also make one hell of a mp map m8.

I'm in the final stages of testing. A little more detailing to go and troubleshoot the last of my problems for the final sequence.

Then a full compile - hopefully tomorrow night - it'll take a good 10 hours to compile.

Then another test to make sure nothing has changed!

And if everything works after that - just to sort out the vclog, save it into the bsp and the same with g_connectpaths 2.

So, released next week.

And then I can finally have some decent sleep and stop dreaming about it!
