I wish it weren't so, but this year's E3 is expected to be lacking the luster it once did now that an old rule is to be enforced. A policy for the expo has been that:

Material, including live models, conduct that is sexually explicitand/or sexually provocative, including but not limited to nudity, partial nudity and bathing suit bottoms, are prohibited on the showfloor, all common areas, and at any access points to the show.

This year, the show's director, Mary Dolaher, says that this policy will be enforced with fines reaching $5,000 on the spot for offenders. Wired has more on the topic.

Hmmm... I think there may be a rule of precedence for anyone who needs to go to court after the show.

Dang, I can't get to these shows living on the wrong coast but if I could, I would be there the first day for sure.

Quote:
Exhibitors would receive one verbal warning when a violation occurs. Upon a second violation, the ESA said it would impose a $5,000 penalty, payable immediately on the site. It would also require that models comply with the dress code before returning to the floor.

after reading that, I would expect the first day to be one of many scantily clad beauties due to a verbal warning first time rule, almost gives them a free day to push the limits of the female E3 show director's buttons

I get so sick of this kind of crap. Of all the games they develop mostly are blowing the crap of virtual male, females etc.
Violence sells, sex sells. But it's okay to sell violence in video games but heaven forbid you see some good looking chick in a bikini.
These bleeding heart liberals make me sick.

Forgot to add this: Mary Dolaher is probably a hag and can't stand to see any good looking babes.
