Hey guys,

I have been working on a new map recently and have begun trying to play it to test it out. The problem is everytime i try to load it i get 'Script runtime error, (see console for details)'. So i take a look in console and it begins talking about lines in _teams.gsc etc but the only things i have in the map at the moment are: the mapitself a hedge and a spawn with intermission (and skybox ^^). i dont understand what is causeing this error as i have worked through everything i can think of. I have spent a week on this already, i dont want to start it again! Please help...

sure you dont have any other mods in your /uo or /main folders?

Script_Runtime_Error is a scripting error with your mymap.gsc - it won't call it as a problem if you disable developer mode on your shortcut (+ set developer 0), so it's not a major problem.

You should always check your mymap.gsc for anything that isn't working in it.

But if you don't have any teams sorted out, or don't even have a mymap.gsc, then there's a big hint as to what the problem is.

As I said above, if you want to leave all of that until later and just see your mymap.map file up and running as a mymap.bsp - then just disable developer mode temporarily.

On a side note:

Script_Runtime_Errors also occur on a couple of incompatibilities between the original COD and the UO. I'm mainly thinking about the use of German Paratroopers in SP, who sometimes fail to call the correct death sound, thus stopping your script in developer mode. I figure this is because German Paras aren't used in the UO game on SP.
