mm so thnx about the clipplayer.. but which texture should i use so no grenades can pass the wall? cuz there are quite a lot of options(ge. clip_item, clip_metal), which i dont know for sure, but i would like to know for sure otherwise i will have to compile it again..

compiling doesnt take much time as long as you don't do the flare stage. All you should compile when you're testing your maps are the BSP and VIS stages. Flare is for when you have the structure laid out and you begin to add the realistic lighting.

i got a solution..


if you want a wall that you can see and shoot trough, but where you can't walk through or throw grenades through

i got a solution for you pal...just make the wall a clear glass wall..unbreakable and soundproof...

mm thnx joemax.. the only pproblem is,, i can't find the texture clear glass, under which texture folder is that, and is it just called: clear_glass

i read your post wrong..i thought u said a wall u cant see...but it will still work...and there isnt a clear glass..you have to make it..but if you what to see the wall and shoot thru..but you dont want a person or gernade to go thru then...this is what you do

first get ur texture and resize it to 2x2 or 4x4 or 16x16 or 256x256 ...just as long it is power of 2
then save it as JPEG and the file name as glass_blend_in@whateveryouwhat.JPEG and then put it in a pk3 folder like Squirt.pk3\Textures\wall\

and there you have it
