How do I make a script to ban GUIDs of know hackers that come into my server by having it in a map gsc. I want extra protection against these kind of people.

PB finds hacks. The PB banlist is long. So you're sayin it has no effect?

putting it the the map gsc wouldent work that well i suggest adding it to the player_connect in the ctf/tdm/dm .gsc files

I hate pb. I guess its caught a lot of hackers but they could not design it to work for xp. You have to be an admin just to play the game on pb servers! For all of us with xp that cannot get admin rights, we are screwed.... I'm playing as much mp as I can before COD2 is ruined...

MP gaming needs a little 'helping hand' due to the increased number of 'cheats'

PB is a powerful tool and has to have an effect, though i was unaware you needed admin rights!

you have to allow PB access to the heart of your pc, which is why it needs you to be logged in as admin (full OS priveledges). If it cant deep scan your hds, it cant check to see if you got any dodgy .dll files (which hackers use). After all, hackers try to 'hide' their hacker files from PB, and evenbalance knows this. So, it requires full access to every part of your hds - to check.

Ultimately, Id rather have PB than not, since the cheats just spoil it for everyone. Good players get called 'cheats', and it generally lowers everyones morale coz everyone suspects the other guy. not good, not good at all in mho.

So you could say it's a bit of a privacy intrusion then really!?
