Here's a new game in production that could turn into something big. Darsana is a free, stand alone game. Built on an RPG engine, it's a midieval FPS game for multiplayer action. The game is still in production and looking for more people to help out. Check out what they have going on so far.

Possibly Rune HOV. Awesome game. They had a gametype called Headball.

I loved that game. Where else could you chop off someone's arm then beat him or her to death with it. Or their head. hehe
I am sure this one won't be as good.
They ought to redo Quake 3 Arena but with edged weapons.
The thing with games and edged weapons is that they don't work well from the first person. You are very limited on the weapons movement. In other words there won't be any spinning and removing your opponent heads. Only stabs and slices. That ain't no fun.
