When i try to run bspc.exe (1.9a) on my level it returns an error saying "unknown BSP format IBSP" is it possible that this version is not made for cod and if not where can i get a version that is. Thanks

bspc.exe? in CoD? Isn;t that for your AI? If so.. that's not needed in CoD. Check out some CoD SP threads about how to make your AI move.
