Hey, i'm making an experiment map. Its going to be set in the city, probly like a run down part of the big apple. About 4 blocks of flats to be included. Some of the rooms in the flats are going to be mapped so that people can snipe out of windows, also the roofs are being mapped. The streets are going to be small with 2 lanes. Manholes leading to an underground network of sewers. Also a subway train station. My problem is that I am not sure which game to map this for (depending on the editor). I have most knowlege of hammer editor. I did a map for SoF2 a while back. And I hear that the CoD editor is good and that everyone is hoping for an even better CoD2 editor. Which one should I use and why?

P.S. Is hammer fucked?

The map your explaining sounds like it would be better made for half life 2, so i would recommend using hammer

Ok, thanks for the opinion. I'll make it for Counter-Strike: Source as a demolition map.

I agree. Since you like the HL2 engine and Hammer is not f'd.. it's the one to go with.
