I don't know where else i should ask this so i'm going to do it here. I'm new to Making Mods for COD:UO and i need to know where to start. I have Pakscape, but when i open PK3 files they are full of .GCS and _MP and stuff that i cannot open, so i can't see the code part. Is there any places on this website that have tutorials on making MODS and not Maps and also what software should i have to be able to make them. the type of mods i'd like would be to customize Sniper Scopes so they look better and make it so you can only kill someone 80 Yards or more and stuff like that. I just don't know where abouts i should look because it's all Mapping not Modding. Please help me. Thankyou, Reece.

all the coding can be opened using notepad so knock yourself out p.s and i mean knock yourself out using it , not coz u didnt know what to open it with ( just read my post there and looked like that ) edited on Dec. 23, 2005 10:36 am by sh1thead

Here is a great place to start....http://www.modsonline.com/Tutorials-list-4.html On that page are tutorials on what the files you're looking at are, what they do, and also how to mod weapons, model for COD, etc.... A wealth of knowledge.
