Hello.

After i have made my model what programs can i use to render a picture of it. Example like with 2 guns layed down with all black background. Please help if you know any programs i can do this with.

Most 3d programs have an renderer build into the program. Look at the help file of your 3d program (MS3d?). You can create the black background by placing a mesh behind it and texturing it black.

Then you should be able to save it as a picture file or take a screenshot and save that.

aye most if not all 3d programs have a scene renderer. Maya has it's own crappy Maya renderer and MentalRay, Max again has it's own crappy renderer (alittle better than maya's) and also has MentalRay. For maya you need to switch on 'Mayatmr' in your plugin manager then you can open the render globals and set up mentalray to do all sorts of crazy stuff.

As for Milkshape 3D I don't use it so I can't help there :(
