We received notification today that the CCA CoD2 strike is going underway as planned. Here is the official announcement:

Today is a very sad day and one which should not be rejoiced or applauded.

After weeks of trying to obtain a response to the questions in my post. "The Time Has Come For Action" and without any kind of meaningful response from either Activision or Infinity Ward, it is indeed now The Time for Action.

It is with deep regret that I must now ask for all those who have pledged your support in our attempts to get a better form of support for our community to now act on your pledge.[html] From 6pm tonight, your local time we would ask all supporters to either shutdown or lockdown your COD/UO/COD2 servers.
Admins please use a secure password in order to be keep your servers empty and change the name of your server to "We Support CCA"

Thank you all for your magnificent support.

Yeh I saw this on the IWN site, I'm not sure what exactly I am going to do. I want the answers, but I don't really wanna shut down my server to show I want them.

Well i guess we will see the outcome. I'm not so sure enough people will actually listen to, and respond though! A mass server shutdown doesn't seem a very easy thing to plan. You need to rely on peoples cooperation, which im not so sure about as there have been mixed reviews on the subject.

wow take a look at ur list... there must be 100 "we support the CCA" between CoD/UO/2

and ten 10x the amount of players ^^

Spam ur Xfire lists to tell ur friends to "stop playing the CCA is on (CoD strike against Activision)"

Game-Monitor shows 682 servers with CCA in the server name. That was the last time I looked. And that was only CoD2 servers. Here is the link to it: Game-Monitor

only about 3000 (est) players playing with only about 25% of servers with players in with only about 15% of servers with any players more than 5 in. (cod2 only)

lets compare that to tomorrows...

No need to swear or start fights. We don't need to burst the bubble of reality[duh] on the strikers mrvip. They have their right to strike.
