sry, this may sound like a stupid ? but y would activision care? i mean, its a good idea, it is prolly hitting activision like a snowball but y would they care? i mean, massive amounts of servers shut down for 24 hours. so they will b bak up the next day, and the players massivly decrease for one day. then all servers are up. u can rent servers and all that stuff the VERY next day. or did i miss read about the "only 24 hours" part?

Just took a look on that Game-Monitor link. Think its now even more - 901 - servers. But some are doing the yes/no tactic.... CCA but a open server that is. For what does that stands ?

How does the CCA effect Activision, you say? Bad publicity. Bad publicity = Gamers reconsidering there christmas presents = worse sales = fat cats at IW being not so fat :P And dont tell me ppl are not put off by this... cos that, my friend, is naive and ignorant.

meh our servers are still up. im wanting to see the effect of the strike though. the greatest thing in the world would be if IW quotes "Thank you Sir, may i have another?"
