Geez, this would make a great MODSonair topic. Check this out... The National Institute for Media and Family sent out report cards to the game industry for the 10th year. While alot of areas sch as retailers all got D- grades, anything related to ESRB received F grades for such things as the accuracy of ratings. Well, the Entertainment Software Ratings Board comes back and says that NIMF is doing nothing more than trying to undermine the confidence the parents now have in the ratings system.

This sounds like nothing more than a political stepping stone. I have to wonder if Hillary and Thompson have a hand in this. The ESRB bases it's ratings on what is provided to them by the developers. I think they do a pretty damn good job of rating games without overstepping their authority. I would even venture to guess that there are a number of parents out there that agree with the ratings for games. Here comes NIMF and they just send out failure notices to everyone. Maybe they read a Hot Coffee mod article somewhere and then filled in the grades. It looks like there is zero research done on their part for providing an accurate grade and I think that NIMF deserves the F here. whew... this would have been fun on MODSonair. lol. Another great GTA Weekly topic.
