How the heck do i open these IWD files up, I tried changin the extension to .zip, opening with winzip, opening with winace, nothing worked. Help me please.[banghead]

I just right clicked > Open With > and used WinRar. Works fine for me.

Make sure when you rename them, you can view the extension. Windows explorer, tools--folder options--view(tab) make sure hide extensions for known file types is UNCHECKED.

I know how to do the extension change. Been modding COD for a while now. Changing the extension just does not work for me. I have WinAce, but it could be different from WinRAR so i will try that.

I used PakScape, yes i know it's meant to open pk3's but heh it works for .iwd's too so:)

The easiest way to open .iwd files is using Total Commander.
