ok I got 2 monitors but have no idea how to set up a dual screen thing... like where to plug in my 2nd monitor and what to do to set it up? I'm running Windows XP Professional with 768 MB RAM, 128 ATI Radeon 9000 AGP PRO, 1.6 GHz help... please

Most important.. your videocard as to support dual monitors. There should be two outputs for monitors on the bracket of your videocard. If you don't have two.. you're out of luck.
Now.. say there are two.. one of those is probably DVI, so.. hopefully one of your monitors will support it, because else again... out of luck.

if it does support it.. hook them both up, WinXP should recognize the monitors and should startup on the main monitor (VGA out). Next open your videosettings menu and select the right stuff. (Like which monitor you want to display what and stuff like that... But that really depends on your monitors, videodrivers and personal liking.

There is a DVI-to-VGA adapter available for monitors that don't support it... my video cards have come with them on occasion...

Ok, first of all, what ports does you video card have.

(VGA, DVI, S-Video, and any others)

So did mine..

Oh.. and speaking about convertors.. there are two types of DVI. DVI-D and DVI-I. I had a convertor too, but it was the wrong type. :S
