I know you use a skybox for outside lighting, but how do you make it darker or lighter inside a house? Can the "light" item in the right click menu on the 2-d surface of CoD Radiant be turned black so it is darker?

if you select a light, press ctrl+k to change the color of the light.

Crtl+K doens't work. Why would I want to connect entities. Thats what Crtl+K is, Connect Entities. I use CoD Radiant.

you have to change the Ambient in your Worldspawn settings.

.2 is default. If you want to make it darker you can set it to .1 or even lower like 0.5.

just try some out. you will see what's best for you map.

but how do I get to edit the worldspawn ambient thing? All I can see are buttons, checkboxes, and a bunch of things under the checkboxes.

He means press K to change the color of the light.
