[quake]

Hi guys,

I've been working on my map for some time now and so far I've been testing it in the game with the devmap in the console but now I would like to go ahead and covert it into real mp map just to see how it plays so far. Until now i've been using the doom 3 tutorials for the questions and problems i've encountered.

Can I go about converting (making a PAK file it think) my q4 map the same way as for doom3?

Thx

yup. the package file should be the same method of creation. The difference will be in the naming convention. Note how Q4 names their package files (particularly the extension).

Okay got that working [thumbs_up]

My Next question is probably an easy one but I couldn't find anything on it on the web.

How can I hide a part of my map when working on a new section? After making a few rooms, I tend to loose orientation with all the lines criss crossing...

Thx
