i bought cod-and coduo on steam installed and updated but the mapping tools cant find the install location and exits how do i fix this

If I recall correctly (and please - it has been many years) you should download the tools via steam (if you haven't). When you first run the tools it will ask for the install path I wrote these tutorials WAYYYYY back when - but most of it should apply today Setup Editor Tutorial Step 1 Setup Editor Tutorial Step 2 Hope that helps

i looked i dont see any tools for coduo in steam im still trying to figure out how to update coduo to 1.5 i got the patch installed it once and it screwed up my game the cod patch wont run cause it wont find the install path

ok i got steam to update to 1.5 but the tools wont give me the option to set the path location so i need to figure out how to get it to work

Have a look at this tutorial iirc you need to have the vanilla cod setup to run the uo editor....but as i said - was a LONG time ago
