Here are a couple screenshots from Radiant. I'm still trying to figure out how to lay this map out so it's well-balanced, which is proving to be difficult. If any of you are good with balancing Base Assault maps, I'd love to recruit your help :P

been a while since i made a base assault map but....
you could have the bases closer to the middle of the map
put the spawns at the far ends
many attack routes in to each base
minimal routes for the defenders to reach each base
bazookas etc spawning very close to each bunker
this way the impact of defenders advantage is lessened, and the attackers may find it easier to attack bunkers because of the bazookas laying next to it, as well as stopping defenders as they all funnel through the same few places..... the point is to speed up the game so it doesn't end in a 63 hour stalemate, which gets boring
of course it doesn't make it impossible to defend however
maybe you could add camping spots overlooking the bunker from the attacker's point of view as well

though i don't have the map file so i won't be able to tell where and how specifically you should add any of that, if you choose to
