Greetings everyone.

Last weeks I've been working on some Single Player Tutorials for Call of Duty 4, where I explain how to setup a very basic singleplayer map, how to do a mission briefing introscreen and give player any weapon you like, how to setup objectives, how to move A.Is around and make them fight and finally the basics of using animations with A.Is in your missions.

I did my best explaining stuff on these tuts, I am sorry if my accent or voice is not so clear or easy to follow, I tried my best to give you a clear and easy to follow tutorial on how to do all those things. If those tutorials exsisted when I started singleplayer mapping, then my progress would be much more faster. So I did them myself for other people who may be in the place where I was back then. I know it's too late for COD4, but hey, better late than never.

Note that those tutorials require that you know how to install mod tools, how to use radiant, and where scripts and maps folders are. I may have forgotten to explain some minor details in some parts but I think you will be fine with what you already have.

To Modsonline admins. I am sorry if this is not the right place to put those tuts. I tried submitting them on the tutorial section but I failed. If there is a way to submit them on the tut section please let me know. Thanks.

Man do I feel like a scrub that knows nothing after watching these. I haven't even begun scripting my map and I know it'll be a nightmare looking at this.

Man, working on CoD2 is so much easier than CoD4 by the looks of this. All I have to do is hit compile and it's done. You're quite the professional if you can do all of this and continue staying motivated.

Again thanks for these, they might be useful for me in the future, and I hope you'll make more such as adding sounds, cinematics, and maybe adding movable vehicles.

But I also don't know some stuff too. I count my scripts on the official COD4 map scripts. And the rest comes from testing scripts in testmaps. That's where all the knowledge comes from. I also don't know many stuff about cod4. Well vehicles are kinda complicated to me too. I can give a short and basic startup on how to setup vehicles, but other than that I don't feel enough qualified to go deeper into vehicles part. About adding sounds. There is already a tutorial that explains it.
