I have the same issue and am desperately looking for a solution. I have the latest version installed. I can run the map (for testing), I just can't build the fast file meaning I can not export my map. Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure your Mod Tools have been updated to the latest version. Pretty sure there was the default Mod tools (1.0) and then one update patch after that (1.1) Can't really think of what else it could be. You said you have the latest version installed, but just making sure. Also, What OS are you running the tools on? Cause the farther you get into windows, seems like the more permissions you need from your own system to run files on your own machine (yeah, thanks Microsoft). Farthest I ran the tools on was Win 7. Might be an administrator problem? Running files as administrator? Sometimes you have to right click the file and run in compatibility mode for other systems to get crap to work properly as new systems try to run old software. Cause I think the BSP is created through a batch file and if it's Win 8 or 10 it might not like batch files that creates files unless it's from the administrator. Just throwing out some ideas.
