I've converted some models over from CoD 5 to UO, but bullets/rockets just pass through them. Also when you walk on them you make no footsteps unlike with models already in the game.
I'm assuming it's because the skins have no shader files for them but I don't know how to make those (and I can't seem to find an example to copy in the stock pk3s). Am I wrong?
The skins are either starting with metal@, metal_masked@, foliage@, concrete@, or glass@
For example:
metal@bazsdk222
metal_masked@bazktt
concrete@bazhorse
foliage@bazhtwc
glass@bazopelg

How can I make this work?

You need to have a clip brush to make your model solid and the type of clip will determine how to material reacts to bullets etc

Eg - clip grass will react like grass when shot or walked on

Hope this helps [angryalien]

I never did make anything on UO, but i know how to make collision on CoD4 models. Should be the same i guess.
When converting models, in Asset Manager you should make the material type you want, and then on xmodel "CollisionLOD" should be set to "High".

This is only for bullet/rocket impact, you can still walk trough the model, so use clip tools to fix that.
Hope it helped.
