It's all just scripting, this one is very simple in comparison with other animation scripts like the one used to make the cargoship jump.
I just learned through time and i use every animation by reading the code of the level where it's used, then i copy it and reform it to my code. It does take time and effort depending on the animation type and code length but this is mostly how i get it done. In conclusion, its all about scripting :)
