I thought you tested all these scripts.
I didnt understand if they worked or not.

It worked for me when i changed the Neutral character with an Ally character. With mostly the same script settings.

Did you tried out these last scripts you send?

So, i was wondering can you tell me your steps to get this animation working? or can you share your test map/script with me to see what's wrong with my map? [lol]

Here's my testmap. [thumbs_up]

I have no problem to help.
I learned so many things about cod4 sp that I can help new mappers a lot. Ask me anything anytime. Id be glad to help if i can.

EDIT UPDATE:

You will have Aitype/Character problems.
you will need the aitype and characters I forgot to add in the files :/
No problem I can teach you to do it yourself!
You have to use Assets manager.

Do the exact things Ill tell you now:
1) Open Assets manager and go to File New, then save as
your_new_assets.gdt

2) Select Character, click on New entiry
Name it exactly like this: "arab_civ1"
Then set voice arab
then set body
character_arab_civilian_lowres_a
Then go on top on PC convert
3) Save and exit Assets manager.
[ You had to close the program so Character asset will appear on the list when you make the AItype. ]

5) Open your GDT file again. and go to Aitype.

6 Click New entity of aitype and name it exactly this way:
civilian_arab_a_test
Set radiant model: character_arab_civilian_lowres_a
Then set weapons and sidearms (AK47 and M9 Beretta if you like)
and set character
arab_civ1
Then go on top on PC convert
7) Open radiant and the character/Ai/actor should work.

First, thank you for sharing the map test. you are a great support[thumbs_up]

I did the asset stuff, i did compile the map, and..................

still not working [eek]

the error: "type string is not an entity"

the line is:
Code:
    self setgoalnode(self.target , "targetname");
                     *                                    


the result: the actors spawns, but they are not running.

[machine_gun]fcking W8!!! it gives me a lot of errors!!

Anyways, i'll try to fix it and see what happens.

1) Instead of node_balcony, i target the actors to node_pathnodes.

Idk why the self.target thing ins't working, so i change it to wait some time before deleting actors
