I import a model in my map and it shows up in radiant. But when I compile the map, it does not show up. I can see other model offered by radiant in misc->model, so it should be my model's fault. Do you run a mod or something? Were there any material errors in console? Check those out.

Yes go to cod4/raw/images and copy all (related to your model) image files and paste them in cod4/main/images When you are going to release your map, make a mod and include these images. If you dont know how to do this last step. Search some tutorials online, maybe here in Modsonline or in Modsrepository.
