I'm trying to make a tank arena map. I have the skybox, walls, tanks, player and spectator spawns. I can successfully compile the map, but when I try to run the map in game, it crashes on me and I see my desktop cursor. I've read through the game log file but don't see any errors.

The map is pretty big, but not as big as mp_kharkov, probably half the size of it. it has 32 tanks in it, but I still get the same error and crash even after cutting the tanks down to 16. mp_kursk has a total of 24 script_vehicles in it, so I doubt that's the problem.

I am best at scrpting and making mods, rarely ever tried to make any maps. this is my first attempt in years, actually. could one/some of you experienced mapping experts take a look at it and tell me what's wrong? I want to keep the size and number of tanks and player spawns if at all possible.

I have attached my arena map to this post.

I have compiled the map and thrown it in a pk3
no problems detected.
I tried to recreate your problem and failed.

Only the roof of the skybox needs to be fully textured for arty to enter the map, the inside walls and floor only need inside texture.

You have landmines under the main arena, not needed as no one will fall through that ground, but players could jump on the tank and onto the wall to get out of the map so maybe think about blocking jumpers instead.

Being as I'm an interfering old git I had to mess about,
the tank-test map, has trigger removed and blocker added on top of wall, sky box amended, notice now when you shoot at the roof with a tank shot you see no explosion but now if you fire at skybox walls you see explosion.
