I'm getting MAX INDEX ERROR, I have done tons of things to work out what the problem is and it's led to a ton of Palm trees,
I have put portals all around the trees but still getting the error,
it's not my terrain as I removed it all and still got the error only when the trees are removed does the error go.
any idea's, (I need the trees )

hi
i think the max index error means there are to many models in the map
try reducing the amount of the trees or other models and entites in the map
if you use the bsp editor it will tell you how many entites are in the map and it says its best to keep it under 1000

I like how you know to give my brain a kick start gun :)

I only have about 10 xmodels in the map the palm trees are made of patch terrain and I did want to triple their numbers.
