Hey all,

So I'm having trouble with BAS for an MP map.
Followed the tutorial in the UO section, and it allows me to load the map in Base Assault mode, but it doesn't play, the bases start off as destroyed already etc...

Any ideas?

Double check all your targets and targetnames. Make sure for each base you have:
script_gameobjectname 'dm,bas' at least, add other gametypes you're using
for #1 base
script_noteworthy 'ammo'
for #2 base
script_noteworthy 'fuel'
for #3 base
script_noteworthy 'hq'
script_team either allies or axis
target "name that you use" "I use al_bas1 for allies base 1, al_bas2 for allies base2, etc.
targetname 'gmi_base'

Then make sure the targetnames for your clips and bomb is correct.

No luck!

My targets and targetnames are all correct, everything is as the tutorial states. I added the script_noteworthy's- what do they do exactly?

Would you have any other ideas?

script_noteworthy identifies the base's as base 1 base 2 and base 3. That has to be done in order for the game to work.

Base 1 is Key: script_noteworthy value: ammo
Base 2 is Key: script_noteworthy value: fuel
Base 3 is Key: script_noteworthy value: hq

When you start the game are the bases numbered at the bottom of the screen?
Highlight one of your bases and save it as a prefab and email it to me, maybe I'll see something there. Or ,if you can, take a picture of the entity screen in your editor and post it.

So I've added the script_noteworthy values to the bases and still no luck!

The base numbers don't appear when I start the map, tried using /scr_debug_bas 1, and still no luck!

I can send you a prefab of one of my bases if you have no other clues?

Are you sure you have targetname 'gmi_base' for each base? If you do then send the file and I'll look at it. Don't know what else to try since I've never run into this before.[ohwell]
