I have created mods and maps for all of the cod series games that have mod tools released for them, but recently i updated my PC to Win8 - 64 Bit everything runs perfectly with the radiant for Cod2 and AssMan and all the rest of the programs work fine. Cod2 SP works fine but MP takes a few minutes to load then its black screen then back to desktop (automatically) after that i open the Cod2 MP that is minimized then it works fine but very slow start up of the game (.exe) for MP but my question is what is up with Windows 8 and Cod2 Modding? i change background for menu and change some other things such as buttons and text in-game, started on a new map compiled for testing doesn't even start the map in-game.

The mod start in-game automatically as i have +set fs_game, how i know that is that the game auto creates player folder with player files inside the mod folder so the game runs the mod but.. the game Doesn't show the modded part of the files such as new Background and everything show nothing it shows original game background and the rest, what is it up with that? it just doesn't allow to mod the game with win8 or what? any solutions?

This guy also writes that it just freezes on Win7 but i did not have that problem on Win7 it worked fine on all windows since XP, worked fine on (XP, Vista, Win7) but what is up with Win8 no idea, so i searched everything, tried many different things but nothing so now i turn to the world wide web for their solutions
