I just recently switched over some HL2 maps I was making over to CSS, and noticed that My ladders don't work in CSS. I even tried the 'LADDER" texture like Doom3 does it. Can it be done, and if so, how do I fix it? Also had a question about rotating doors. Well I'm making a brush based catapult, and I made the arm a rotating door, and trigger it off a lever on the side of the cart it is patented to. It launches rocks that I made into a prop_physics What would be the best kind of entity to make the cart, and have it moveable, or at least rotatable?

Nevermind on the ladder issue. I only had the front side textured with the ladder texture. The rest were NoDraw. DOH!
Anyway. that clears up that issue. Now I just need to work on the lighting, a flow of it. The map I have closest to completion is based of an old DND module, A1 Slave Pits of the Undercity. It has 3 levels to play on. a sewer level, ground level, and roof top level. So it should work well for a deathmatch map I think. attached are a few screenshots. Still working the bugs out of the catapult, but I might just scrap the idea if it proves too much of a problem.
