Every tutorial I've found doesn't even seem to correlate with the 2014 version of Maya. I have Maya 2014 64-bit and I have no idea on how to install the Call of Duty Model Exporter plugin. I've messed with it to get to the point where I can see the tab inside the Maya program but whenever I try to actually export anything, I get an error saying

// Error: file: C:/Documents/maya/scripts/CODExportModelWindow.mel line 279: Plug-in, "XModelExport", was not found on MAYA_PLUG_IN_PATH.

I've checked the plugin path and my XModelExport.mll file is there but it isn't being detected? Any help guys?

I solved the problem by just avoiding Maya altogether. I'm now using Blender instead.
