It has been quite a while since I installed WAW on my pc. I just had a hdd crash and had to reinstall it. There are a couple of things now I cannot remember,

1st Now that PB no longer supports COD, how do I update it.

2nd I installed al the patches up to 1.7, but the multiplayer game now won't start. It was working fine before, except of course getting kicked because PB needs updating. I get a unhandled exception error.

Does anyone know how to solves these please.

Or try and find evenbalance for cod5, that will fix your punkbuster, as for the crash, what error do you get, and where does it crash? Maybe just google what is happening? :P

The link you gave is just the evenbalance site, they don't support cod anymore. The error I'm getting is,,,error during initiation, unhandled exception caught.

I been looking on the net all afternoon for solutions, there seems to be plenty of people with the problem, but no one with the answer.

I seems to be the patches upgrade that screwed it, I don't know which one. As for pb, without that I get kicked from games.

It is sorted now. I finally found a site with a punkbuster update, this also fixed the other problem.
