Hi I am new to Radient and was trying to figure out how to connect Texture Patches to lets say a regular brush.

I was also wondering when you use texture patches for ground and cliffs and such do you have to put a Caulk texture under them. Or do they support running around and movement I have read a few tutorials and never seen anything specific.

Thanks [sniper]

You cannot attach a patch to a brush, the closest you will get is manipulating the vertices of the patch to line up with the edge of the brush. Good practice is to avoid intersecting each kind if you can help it.

Caulk is a developer texture, its solid but invisible, every surface (brush or patch) should be made from caulk then only texture visible faces, this helps prevent the GPU from hating you [tongue] think of caulk as a texture, if you replace it with say brick, you have replaced the caulk for brick, it doesnt remain underneath.
