Hello!
This is my first map and just having fun doing this.

I followed tuts from your site which are really great but ran into a problem which the tut maker didn't. The problem is that everything happens alright but when the map is loaded, it redirects to a random default map and starts the game in that map.

What's the problem?

I can't see default spawnpoints for multiplayer.

Place them by right clicking on 2d view and select (it's for tdm)

mp -> tdm -> spawn -> allies_start (it is spawnpoint for marines or sas)

mp -> tdm -> spawn -> axis_start (it is spawnpoint for opfor or spetsnaz)

mp -> tdm -> spawn (it is spawnpoint for a player who died during game (he is spawning near his team))

You should also create a .gsc file for your map. Create an empty mp_yourmapname.gsc file in raw -> maps -> mp

Write this to the file:

And add this line to your .csv file (4th step, white column)

Thank you. That fixed the bug. Anyway, how do I export the map for public use? Like I want it to test with my friends on multiplay... so

The .ff file is like a .rar file. It has got compressed models, files etc.


All you need to do is copy the .ff file and send them to your friends, then you have to host a server with your map and test it

Thanks, I have some other questions if you can answer.

1. Most of the time, my figures get rainbow colors on them, I have also applied worldspawn properties from modsonline worldspawn settings but no luck.

2. how do we make obstacles/objects like crates etc ride-able, so that it show the msg, press shift etc and rides on shift?
