Hello,
I have followed this tutorial:

It said delete players bones, so I did it and leave the gun's bones intact. Unfortunately, the gun is rotated and cover all the screen no matter how I rotated it in Milkshape.

Does anyone have any idea about this?

Look at this regarding modelling: http://wiki.modsrepository.com/index.php/Call_of_Duty_2:_Viewsleeves_Tutorial

Usually, if i remember correctly, you will need a j_bolt bone for the bolt of the gun, a j_clip, for the magazine, j_gun for the rest of the gun model, you will also need a tag_bullet, for bullet ejactulation, and a tag_flash for where the gun flash comes from, but the tutorial should explain it better.

Thanks, Ukdjaj[thumbs_up]

I think the word you are looking for is 'ejection', not 'ejactulation'. [biggrin]

I recommend you look at the m16 vmgun file in Maya to get an idea of the rigging and joints for viewmodel guns.

This for cod 4 or higher, I'm making cod 1 so it will be much simpler with statics.[wink]
