Hi there! I'm currentry working on a sound for my new weapon... Well, it all went pretty good, now the last step is attaching a .wav sound.
I made a new sounaliases file, etc. It all worked pretty good, but there is no sound! I mean, all the stuff is correct: current path, soundaliases, but no sound is actually played...
So, what are requirements for .wav file? Should it contain some audio-"channels"?

P.S. First I just renamed everything and put original BAR shoot sound, it went good. But as soon as I replaced it, no sound is played. Volume is maximum, no mistakes in console. Just no idea.

P.P.S. The sound is originally from a video. I threw away all the stuff: video-channel (left only audio-channel), then I cut the target piece of file and converted it from .mp4 to .wav!

Use Audacity or a good media converter to apply mentioned modifications to the file.

Nah, nothing works... I tried 44100 Hz, 32-bit (float), Mono, but nothing works... I tried to convert to .wav with MovAvi converter, Sound Forge 6.0, Audacity, but no result.... Absolutely no sound... And that damn console also keeps quiet...[confused]
