Hi threre, Did u missed me?

Well I have a question.

I know lightgrid and yes it makes light not look like rainbow in map and yes it is important for the map not to seem odd, But
I was wondering do I have to put it in the areas where the player can go? or every place where models and paths and players can go?
cos i see that it may be too much lightgrid.

Can you guys tell me the areas where lightgrid MUST be and the places where it is not .
for example.
Do i have to have lightgrid where paths are?
Do i have to have lightgrid where models are ( yes?)
Do I have to have lightgrid ONLY where the player can go?

Think of it as the "bubble" the players fight in. Enclose the area the player uses with light grid. It can be more than one brush, and they can be any shape.

Sometimes a model turns red that is way outside the light grid. Enclose the model in the light grid and the model is shown correctly.

You lucky, the 'old' style was to run around your level like packman collecting 'light dots' and make a VClog by hand, very time consuming and boring to do.

Thank the technology, some day someone is going to say, "Yeah, it sucks, we used to have to make these brushes in the areas where the players could go." [crazy]

Makes me wonder if games of the future will allow custom content. I sure hope so.
